My 2020 couples will always hold a special place in my heart. I feel like we really went through it all together! Jessica and John were my first couple to be affected by the Covid-19 restrictions. They were less than a month away from their dream wedding when the world shutdown. They did a small elopement in March and I surprised them and photographed it. They postponed their big celebration to the Fall. This was back when we thought Covid would be a short lived thing (remember that? If we had known then what we know now..). Long story short, most of their guests were traveling from Oklahoma for their day and they ended up canceling their wedding at the Wequasset at the Cape and doing a small backyard wedding in Jessica’s sister’s backyard in the Fall. While it wasn’t their Plan A (or B.. or C..), it was an amazing day filled with so much love! Jessica’s backyard visions came to life and she managed to transform the yard into such beauty! I know good things are coming for J&J in their marriage!
