I’m excited today to share a recent Fall session with one of my favorite families! I photographed Katelyn and Zack’s engagement session, wedding day, maternity session and now they are a regular family client, expecting baby #2 in March! It has been SO fun to literally be there for every big milestone they have had as a family for the last 4-5 years. These are the things that make my job so so rewarding.
By now, you can imagine Katelyn and Zack are pros in front of the camera. They completely trust me, even when I say to just smile and give hugs while their toddler Norah is melting down towards the end of the session! If you scroll to the last series of photos, you’ll see what I mean. Like many kids, Norah was happy and smiley for the first part of the session and started to lose it towards the end. But oftentimes, we still can get great photos even if a kid isn’t behaving “perfectly.” The photo of Norah crying while on her Dad’s shoulders? Priceless hehe. And snuggly photos are some of my favorites! No smiles required! So parents, let this be a lesson: during your photo shoot no matter what your kid’s are doing, just keep smiling : )
