Jess and Doug tied the knot by the water in mid October at Shining Tides in Mattapoisett, MA. All week leading up to their day was forecasting rain but the weather gods came through and it stayed perfectly overcast and dry the entire day! Jess & Doug’s wedding day was truly one of the most beautiful, romantic, COLORFUL days I have had the honor of being a part of. I could have photographed their details and bridal portraits all day long!
Jess and Doug met in September 2020 virtually over zoom while at business school together. Sparks flied when they finally met in person and quickly started dating. Now they love spending time together at the beach and hanging out with all their friends. I loved their relaxed approach to their wedding day: the timeline had room to breathe, no bridal party beyond siblings (but lots of fun friend pictures later on!) and the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were within steps of each other.
