The Best Cape Cod Wedding Venues

The Cape is one of my favorite places to photograph; the sandy beaches and dunes, the hydrangeas around every corner, the classic cedar shake shingles, and historic lighthouse make for the most picturesque backdrops. It’s one of the most magical places and sometimes I have to remind myself how lucky we are to have this gem of a spot just 90 minutes from Boston. Between June and September, the majority of my weddings and photo session are at the Cape, which I love! I’ve photographed so many Cape weddings at tons of different venues and here are my favorite!

The Best Cape Cod Wedding Venues

Wychmere Beach Club – With now three stunning ceremony & reception options to choose from, Wychmere really has something to offer everyone. Every time I photograph there, I am so impressed by how smoothly this Longwood Venue runs a wedding day, how accommodating the staff is, and how much I love photographing here! Wychmere has so much to offer and no two weddings are alike. See a real Wychmere Beach Club wedding here.

Chatham Bars Inn – I mean, how can a list about the Cape not include Chatham Bars? From the hydrangea lined staircase to the oceanside ceremony setup, this venue is classic Cape Cod luxury!

Pelham House Resort – After going through a huge renovation in 2019, the Pelham House has quickly become one of my favorite venues on the Cape! I love how couples can take over the entire resort for the weekend- from the welcome party around the pool and firepits, to the ceremony on the front lawn, and the beautiful, all white reception room right inside!

Wequassett Resort & Golf Club – Another Cape Cod classic, the Wequassett has so much to offer. I love the beautiful front porch for formal photos, and the beautiful lawn ceremony space looking out over the water! See a real Wequassett Resort wedding here.

The Popponesset Inn – I have memories of going to the Poppy for dinner with my family when vacationing in New Seabury during the summer, and I know I’m not alone! This venue is always nostalgic for me. The permanent tent is so classic Cape Cod, and it is a perfect blank slate for however you want to dress it up! I love how there are tons of places for you and your wedding guests to stay nearby, and lot of churches close by too! See a real Popponesset Inn wedding here.

Bourne Farm – Bourne Farm may not be what you think of when you think of a Cape wedding but sigh, I love it here so much! I photographed one of my favorite weddings ever here and for couples looking for some open, beautiful & green land to make their own- I highly recommend heading to Bourne!
